Native Plant Festival
Next Saturday & Sunday • April 21 & 22
We Love Native Plants!
Come enjoy the biggest collection of native plants we'll have all year - more than 100 varieties! Everything from Trillium and Columbine to Flowering Currants and Madrone trees.
Planting groups of natives will help revive natural habitats for birds, bees, butterflies, and other beneficial wildlife that have spent thousands of years co-evolving with these plants. This is especially important in our urban ecosystems, where our buildings and streets can create a habitat desert for our some of our most important species.
A Gift for You
As thanks for celebrating our native flora & fauna with us, every purchaser of native plants will receive a free packet of Milkweed seed, favorite plant of the Monarch Butterfly!
While supplies last, of course.
In Support of Native Habitats
We'll be donating 10% of all native plant sales during this Festival to our neighbors at the Portland Audubon Society.
Among all the wonderful things they do, our contribution will help them protect and restore wildlife habitats throughout the state, including coastal, urban, and rural ecosystems.
Reminder: sign up below to receive a quick reminder email on Friday.
Native Plant Q&A
Sunday, April 22 from 11:00am - 12:30pm
Our resident native plant expert Darla Van Bergen will be hosting this informal Q&A session where she will be answering your questions about everything related to gardening with native plants.
Our Native Plant Section
We've recently moved and expanded our Native Plant section! You'll find more than 100 varieties of native perennials, shrubs, and trees across from the parking lot behind the cafe.
